HAPPY 78th BIRTHDAY TO A GREAT MAN AND EVERYONE’S FRIEND KIETH ROWSON.

Kieth was born on the 27th November 1941 his boyhood dream was to play the sax in Tommy Dorsey’s Orchestra but it was not to be so he turned his hand to Rugby League. He learned his rugby at Dewsbury Road Boys School and went on to have a successful rugby career. Keef relinquished his amateur status on the 5th May 1958 signing for his beloved club Hunslet RLFC. He made his 1st team debut on the 29th September 1961 away against York. He would have made his debut a lot earlier but he had a nasty accident in the old big bath at Parkside. (if you ask Kieth he will tell you what happened)

From all your pals have a great day Kieth
